~ accepting new clients ~
I approach my work with empathy and a deep passion for making a difference in people’s lives. My goal is to help you improve your sense of well-being and navigate life’s challenges with resilience and purpose. I appreciate that coming to therapy can be overwhelming, and I commend your courage in taking a step towards positive change. In my counselling approach, I strive to provide a safe, empowering space where you can explore your struggles without fear of judgement.
My work on the paediatric oncology and hematology ward, with clients struggling with complex health challenges, enriched my ability to handle difficult issues with patience and compassion. It is through this experience that I have shaped my approach to therapy and passion for working with most vulnerable individuals. My parental and life experiences have fostered my interest in supporting mothers and women to enhance their psychological well-being.
I work with individuals and couples affected by depression, anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, among other challenges. In our sessions, you can expect a client-centered and collaborative approach. I believe in the strength of the therapeutic relationship and draw from various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
I am committed to supporting you in developing insight, inner resources, new skills, and empowering you to navigate life’s challenges more effectively. Together, we will explore your unique path to well-being and work towards improving your overall quality of life. I would be honored to walk alongside as you embark on your journey of exploration, healing, and growth.
“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”
~ Carl R. Rogers
