“Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.”

~ Helen Keller

Therapy is something that I believe everyone can benefit from. Whether you know exactly what you want to work on, or are feeling overwhelmed with figuring things out, I look forward to working with you to explore how your unique challenges and experiences can find healing and resolution. I am incredibly passionate about meeting you where you are at, and working together to get you where you want to be.

When working with me as your therapist, you don’t need to have the right words or know how to express how you are feeling, that’s something we can figure out together at your pace. Most of life is, at a minimum, some level of confusing or mentally straining let alone when the debilitating nature of trauma enters the conversation. My approach is direct, yet warm and understanding, and ultimately grounded in centering you as the incredible, unique person that you are.

Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of capacities to support people at different ages and needs, including at Paul Band Nation and Alberta Hospital Edmonton. I draw on a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions depending on your concerns and needs. I have experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, self-esteem, suicidality, relationship issues, maladaptive coping, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anger management, grief, ADHD, domestic violence, meeting parole/probation requirements, men’s mental health, and culturally sensitive care.

My expertise includes supporting men exploring what it means to express their emotions and communicate them in a way that honours their style of communication and unique needs, supporting individuals in their general health journeys and navigating complex diagnoses, and individuals healing from trauma including generational trauma. As a new mother, I am also intimately familiar with what it means to undergo all aspects of motherhood and parenting.

As a professional, with time working in the public and private sector while navigating being a parent, a first-generation immigrant, and my own experiences with burnout, I have a deep appreciation for the conscious and subconscious experiences people have that impact their health, life, and relationships. I truly believe that anyone, with the right tools, can experience the change they need. If you are interested in working together to experience support, relief, and change, please feel free to reach out to me and let’s get started.
